For my school magazine I interviewed the Dad from 'Gregory's Girl' and the actress who played Henry's sister in 'Neighbours!'

Terry Pratchett told me years ago, to write now you 'had to model, or sleep with someone famous!'

Other Writing

At the end of 2020 I submitted my loitering novel 'Drowsy, Sleepy Kisses' to the Roadmap 'Write Start' Competition and would you believe it made QF, SF and now Finalist, Top 5!  It's an Aberdeen thriller about a detective hunting a serial killer!

In 2013/2014 I had the idea of writing a humourous diary blog in the style of 'A dog day'.

It dealt with everything from school runs to how lifeguards got whistles.

As a harassed parent, the idea appealed to me as I thought I could give a 1:01 of parenting and how not to do it.

Thus in summer 2016, 'A Tweet Day' was posted on Lulu... not the singer.

As a complete novice I had no idea - or cash - to format it for an ISBN, thus it's languished in obscurity apart from a stray review by Badger at 'Newsnibbles'. Hello, Badge!

A Tweet Day

Useless information:

I had my own freelance column for 'Mondanite' in Dubai and also wrote for the sister magazine 'Decoration'.

I wrote horoscopes for 'Blue Jeans' but never kissed a pillow!

I had two poems published in the 'Evening Express' and one in the 'Young Scot' magazine.

Success! Message received.

Remember my writers to watch?  @fkleitch now has 'Dead in Venice on Audible and, the Nosey Parker series with the likes of 'Murder on the Menu' now available on Amazon.

Emma Pullar has 'Paper Dolls' and @CarmenRadke now has a new cosy murder mystery out too, while Lucy V Hay as Lizzie Fry has 'The Coven'.
