My favourite books are by: Wodehouse, Wilde, Grisham, Hiiason and Le Carrê. I still cry at 'The Happy Prince!)
During my year out I translated Spanish copies of 'Le gusta le musica, le gusta bailar' and 'Adelante, Jeeves' to help my Spanish vocabulary.
New Projects
Over lock-down I've written a swathe of new and different genre short scripts, these include everything from sci-fi, through horror, romance and fantasy stories.
My Galton and Simpson entry 'Lodging' is a sitcom about a rich bitch banker who loses status and money and has to accept it when common lodgers move into the family home and I've written a second episode for fun.
Hand in hand with that is a comedy that's not reached the boil but goes by the working title of 'Gardeners 'v' Psychopaths!'. I have a third of a feature comedy that's like 'Cheaper by the Dozen' with a twist and am working on a pirate romp (Aaarr!) and a children' story called 'Help! My Puppy's a Monster Goat Alien!'
I completed my 230 page novel about an Aberdeen police officer hunting a murderer and the first TV episode of a script to go with it. Follow my link here for a taster:

Time will tell if any agents, or publishers bite, or if it gets confined to the darkness of the documents file with; rejected shorts for 'Newsjack', the four chapters of 'Rank' the horror novel and the poem about Cecile the constipated goose.

My first live reading was a Christmas poem I wrote in Primary. My Academy English teacher said I 'was always entertaining' and my Techy teacher once gave me 'Rolos' for perseverance! So, I keep plugging!
I've written 116 pages of a sequel to the novel. It's gruesome but enjoyable with a touch of humour thrown in.
